Elden Ring
Legendary Items List

Below is a checklist of all of the legendary armaments (weapons), ashen remains, sorceries and incantations that are needed for trophies or achievements in Elden Ring. This list is meant to accompany my Elden Ring video series which can be found HERE.

Legendary Weapons - Legendary Armaments Trophy

Devourer's Scepter - This armament is the first one you can get. In Limgrave, West head to the Warmaster's Shack. There you'll find a friendly NPC Knight Bernahl. Kill him. He'll drop it. Don't worry about missing out on the Ash of War that he sell, he drops his bell-bearing, too.

Grafted Blade Greatsword - Is dropped by defeating the boss (Leonine Misbegotten) of Castle Morne in Weeping Peninsula.

Sword of Night and Flame - This is found in a locked room in Caria Manor in Lurinia Lakes. From the Manor Lower Level grace site head out onto the ramparts and head along them watching out for the soldiers. When you reach the first tower head left, then from the second tower head right and finally at the third tower look over the ledge to the left and you'll see a rooftop below. Jump down, then onto the next available rooftop, on this one you'll see a ladder leading down a hole in the roof. The sword is in a chest at the bottom of this ladder.

Ruins Greatsword - Is dropped by defeating the Leonine Misbegotten and Crucible Knight during the boss fight in Redmane Castle, Caelid. This fight takes place in the staging area for the Radahn boss fight and can only be done before or after defeating Radahn. If the festival is still ongoing you can't access this fight. If you're doing it after, make sure to exhaust Witch-Hunter Jerren's (the guy organising the festival) dialogue first, this officially ends the festival.

Dark Moon Greatsword - This is gifted to you by Ranni at the end of her questline (well, the point where you've locked her ending in). Once you put the Dark Moon Ring on her finger in Cathedral of Manus Celes in Moonlight Altar, she will disappear and leave this sword behind.

Marais Executioner's Sword -  This is dropped by Elemer of the Briar once you defeat him. He is found in the Shaded Castle in Altus Plateau.

Bolt of Gransax (Missable) - This is the only missable weapon in the game. It is found in Leyndell, Royal Capital. It's sat on top of the large bolt in the area (you can't miss it). To get to it you need to defeat Godfrey, First Elden Lord (Golden Shade version). From his arena, head left outside, down the lift, down the stairs and you should see that you're above the giant bolt. Simply jump over the side and run up it, be careful, it can be a bit slippy. This becomes missable once you complete Crumbling Faram Azula. The whole of Leyndell will change and you can't reach it any more.

Eclipse Shotel - Probably the simplest legendary armament to find. It's located in Castle Sol, in Mountaintops of the Giants. Once you reach the Church of Eclipse grace point, it's in the next room. Can't miss it really.

Golden Order Greatsword - This greatsword is found in the Cave of the Forlorn which is located in Consecrated Snowfield. Simply make your way through the cave and defeat the boss at the end, Leonine Misbegotten, he'll drop it. Beware, he hits extremely hard.

Legendary Ashes - Legendary Ashen Remains Trophy

Lhutel the Headless - These ashes are found in Tombsward Catacombs in Weeping Peninsula. The entrance to it is found directly south of Church of Pilgrimage, just behind a pillar before the Minor Erdtree. The tomb is essentially underneath the Minor Erdtree. Go through the tomb and defeat the boss at the end, Cemetery Shade, to get the ashes.

Redmane Knight Ogha - These ashes are also found in a tomb, this time War-Dead Catacombs in Caelid. You will need to have defeated Radahn first before you can access them. Once you have, from the Radahn grace head north along the coastline to find the entrance to the tomb. Make your way through the tomb and defeat the boss, Putrid Tree Spirit, to get the ashes. Be warned this is a high level catacomb.

Mimic Tear - These ashes are found underground in Night's Sacred Ground, which is part of Nokron, Eternal City. After defeating the Mimic Tear boss carry on to Hallowhorn Grounds. From the Ancestral Grounds Site of Grace jump across to the rooftops and follow that area until you get to a fog gate that requires a Stonesword Key, the ashes are behind this fog gate.

Black Knife Tiche - These ashes are found by defeating the boss, Alecto, Black Knife Ringleader in the Ringleader's Evergaol. The gaol can be found on Moonlight Altar Plateau.

Ancient Dragon Knight Kristoff - These ashes are found in the Sainted Hero's Grave which is found in Altus Plateau. Make your way through the tomb and defeat the boss, Ancient Hero of Zamor, to receive the ashes.

Cleanrot Knight Finlay - These ashes are found in Elphael, Brace of the Haligtree. From the Prayer Room site of grace keep going down the stairs until you get to a point where you have to go back on yourself to go down some more stairs, don't go down these stairs, instead jump over the wall to the right on to the archway. Then jump across to the next platform and you'll find a room with a Cleanrot Knight, kill them and open the chest to receive the ashes.

Legendary Spells - Legendary Sorceries and Incantations Trophy

Flame of the Fell God (Incantation) - This incantation is found in Liurnia of the Lake. In the southeast of the area there is an evergaol called Malefactor's Evergaol. Defeat the boss here, Adan, Thief of Fire to receive the spell.

Greyoll's Roar (Incantation) - To get this incantation you need to kill the biggest dragon in the game, Greyoll. He can be found in Dragonbarrow (northern part of Caelid). From the Divine Tower of Caelid follow the road southeast to find him, you can't miss him, he's huge. Go round the back of him and keep hitting him to kill him, he won't attack, but it will take a long time to kill him, he has a lot of health. Try using a weapon with bleed, it helps a lot. After he's dead head to the Cathedral of Dragon Communion along the southern point of Caelid and purchase the spell.

Ranni's Dark Moon (Sorcery) - This sorcery is found on Moonlight Altar Plateau. It's in Chelona's Rise, the tower at the southwestern point. To enter the tower you need to interact with the tome outside of it then kill three giant tortoises. The first is found hanging off the cliff just to the west of the tower. The second is at the top of the spirit spring southeast of Ringleader's Evergaol (Northwest Moonlight Plateau). The third is south of the Lunar Estate Ruins (Southeast Moonlight Plateau). Look over the cliff edge to spot him. Whenever you see lots of normal tortoises in area, that means you're close. Once all three are dead, go back to the tower and climb to the top for the spell.

Comet Azur (Sorcery) - This sorcery is found in Mt. Gelmir. From the Erdtree-Gazing Hill grace point on the Altus Plateau head north to Wyndham Ruins, then follow the dark northwestern passage, keep following this passage round past the castle and the lava until you eventually get to Hermit Village. At the end of this village there is the Demi-Human Queen Maggie boss fight. Defeat her and just past her to the left, you'll find Primeval Sorcerer Azur next a grace point. Interact with him for the spell.

Stars of Ruin (Sorcery) - Firstly, you will need Comet Azur (See above). When you have that go and see Sorcerer Sellen in the Waypoint Ruins in Limgrave. Show her the spell and she will ask for a favour, agree to help and she'll give you the Sellian Sealbreaker. Now head to Sellia, Town of Sorcery in East Caelid. Light the towers in Sellia and you'll notice that they remove the magic barriers in the area. The southern tower removes the large barrier at the top of the stairs. Once that's gone continue through and follow the path until you get to the Church of the Plague. From the head up the hill to the graveyard, in the graveyard by a large memorial there will be a hostile sorcerer. Kill him. Behind where he was stood (behind the large memorial) there is a cliff face, hit it, it's illusionary and will disappear. This is Sellia Hideaway. You don't need to complete this cave, just go to the main 'crystal area' which is behind a couple more illusionary walls and drop down to the dark area below (there are two parts, you want the second part of it), to find another sorcerer guarding another magic seal. Kill him, break the seal and 'speak' to Master Lusat to get the spell. Phew.

Elden Stars (Incantation) - This spell is found in Deeproot Depths. At the start of the area there are large roots/branches you can walk on. Walk to the highest point on the right of them to find a cave full of ants, with quite a few queen ants as well. Kill the ants and get to the end of the cave to find the spell just sitting there on the ledge.

Founding Rain of Stars (Sorcery) - This sorcery is found in Mountaintop of the Giants. It's at the top of Heretical Tower. To gain access to the tower you need to get to the cliff edge to the north of the tower and cross an invisible bridge. From the Snow Valley Ruins Overlook site of grace head east and climb on the broken bridge then simply walk towards the tower. Near the end of the invisible bridge there are some invisible stairs to the left that lead up to the tower. If you look carefully you will see a faint snow path on them (or go online and look for other players' messages on the ground). The stairs twist so be careful. You'll find the spell at the top of the tower.

Legendary Talismans - Legendary Talismans Trophy

Radagon Icon - This talisman is found in the Academy of Raya Lucaria, which is in Liurnia of the Lakes. From the Debate Parlour site of grace (where you fought Red Wolf of Radagon), head outside and follow the wall on the right, jump the next wall and climb the ladder. You'll end up on the floor above the debate parlour, the talisman is in a chest to the right.

Radagon's Soreseal - This talisman is found in Fort Faroth, in Dragonbarrow (North Caelid). The Fort is the one behind the giant dragon (Greyoll). Make your way to the top of the fort, then drop back into the fort using the gap in roof. Jump across the wooden platforms and use the ladder to get back down to the ground floor. You'll basically end up at the start of the fort again, but on the other side of the wooden wall. The talisman is just lying on the floor.

Moon of Nokstella - This talisman is found in Nokstella, Eternal City. From the starting grace point of Nokstella, head up the stairs on the left and follow the area around, climbing the stairs as you go. Eventually, you'll get to a room with a perfumer and two silver tears. Behind them is a chest which contains the talisman.

Godfrey Icon - This talisman is a reward for defeating an evergaol boss. The Evergaol in question is the Golden Lineage Evergaol. It's located in Altus Plateau. From the Grand Lift of Dectus, head east and drop down to find the evergaol. You will need Stonesword Keys to activate it.

Marika's Soreseal - This talisman is found in Elphael, Brace of the Haligtree. There is an easy/safe way to get this or the way you're supposed to get it. Let's take the easy way. From the Prayer Room site of grace go outside and look over the edge to ramparts in the distance, you should see an Erdtree Avatar patrolling it. You can safely use ranged attacks from up here to get rid of it. Once it's dead, jump onto the archway leading to the tower, jump from the tower onto the ramparts where the Erdtree avatar was and head south. At the end of the ramparts look right and jump onto the roof below, then drop from this roof onto the ground below (stick close to the wall as you drop so the revenants don't spawn. As you drop down you should be stood in front of a fog gate that requires a Stonesword Key, use one and you'll find the talisman on large torch at the back.

Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman - This talisman is found in Elphael, Brace of the Haligtree. This time we're in the second part of it, so after crossing the waterfall of rot. From the Drainage Channel site of grace go outside and follow the roots of the tree so that you end up on the building roof to the north. Look for a hole in the roof and carefully drop down onto the joists below. Just below you'll see some enemies guarding a chest. Kill the enemies and open the chest to find the talisman.

Old Lord's Talisman - This talisman is found in Crumbling Farum Azula, the final area of the game. From the final site of grace of this area, Beside the Great Bridge, go up the stairs, then down the big stairs and into the next building. From there follow the path and down the stairs and back outside, look to the right for a ladder and go down it. The talisman is in the tower at the end of the path. Before of beasts and an invasion at the entrance.

Erdtree's Favor +2 - This is the final legendary talisman you can get in the game and it isn't available until you have defeated Maliketh the Black Blade in Crumbling Farum Azula. After that Lyndell, Royal Capital will change to Lyndell, Capital Ash. When that's done, go to the Forbidden Lands site of grace. It's just to the east of the capital. Once there use the lift and head back to Leyndell. Go all the way back until you get to an area filled with sand. In the sand are three putrid tree spirits, so be careful and take you time dealing with them. One a branch in the back corner of the area you'll see an item at the top, this is the talisman.
